Here at CTL, we place a lot of value on Christian education for Jesus’ littlest lambs. Our mission is simple: to share the Message of God’s infinite love for His children. We invite all children, from three years old through eighth grade, to weekly Sunday School from 9:15 to 10:15 throughout the school year.
All are welcome – whether you are a member, prospective member, or visitor! Registration for the coming school year takes place in the summer and the term begins the first Sunday after Labor Day. Interested in starting mid-year? Not a problem – new students are welcome to enroll anytime.
In class, your child will learn a broad range of Bible stories from the Old and New Testament and participate in engaging activities and music time. Our “Enduring Faith” curriculum from Concordia Publishing House is customized for each age group and differs in content from the Lutheran Elementary School religion coursework. Like our school, preschoolers (ages 3 and 4) and kindergarteners meet in their own classrooms, while the older students are grouped in two grades per room.
Children put their faith into action through mission work offerings and other special projects, such as collecting food and Christmas gifts for needy children. Grades 1-8 participate in the Christmas Eve children’s service and all students sing for worship two to three times per year.
