Pastor Kolander has served at Christ the Lord since 2001. He is also currently serving as the president of the Southeastern Wisconsin District of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. Prior ministry experiences include being an instructor at Northwestern College, Watertown, WI and serving as pastor at St. Paul, Saginaw, MI and St. John, New Ulm, MN. Pastor Kolander is a 1983 graduate of Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary. He and his wife, Lu, have three grown children.
