Organ Installation Update

We are excited to share that our organ project continues to move forward.  The second phase of installation work is scheduled to begin on November 6th.  The technicians will begin with the wiring and electrical work, followed by the installation of the organ console.  Finally, they will complete the project with the voicing of the organ, which is a meticulous process to “match” the organ to the acoustic space of our sanctuary.  The entire process is slated to span about two weeks.  To God be the glory for this special blessing!

Trunk or Treat

Trunk or Treat is scheduled for the evening of October 24th from 6:00-8:00pm. This will be a great fun-filled experience for the children of CTL (up to 6th grade). Children will go trick or treating from decorated car trunk to car trunk and may not always need to play a game to earn candy. Snacks, coloring, a costume competition, and many other items will make this a fun filled night. The evenings agenda is as follows: (6:00 – 7:00pm) – Trunk or Treat time! Children go and gather candy from outdoor trunks; (7:00 – 8:00 pm) – Coloring, snacks, costume contest, movie, and open gym time. (Movie title TBD). We do need many volunteers to make this night a success. Please consider volunteering to host a trunk or help with crafts and snacks by signing up here or on the sheet in the back of church.

Bible Information Class

About once a year CTL hosts a Bible information class for prospective members and others who wish to go over the Bible’s teachings.  This year’s class will begin on Thursday, September 27, at 7:00 pm in the multi-purpose room.  A number of people have already signed up for the class, but there is always room for more.  If you or someone you know is interested in learning about Jesus and the teachings of the Bible, please speak with one of the pastors.
