Special Worship Opportunities in the Coming Weeks
During this season of Epiphany, we are welcoming a number of different groups to our Sunday worship services. Please consider these special opportunities that will help us consider Christ’s light in different ways this season:
February 10—Martin Luther College Sunday: Pastor Michael Otterstatter, Vice-President for Mission Advancement at Martin Luther College, will preach our sermon and bring a Bible study focused on the mission and ministry of churches. He will also share information about the work our synod does in the area of Christian Education and our worker training system. Special music on the day will include a combined choir of children and adults from CTL.
February 17—The Lutheran Ceili Orchestra: Joey Schumann and members of the Lutheran Ceili Orchestra will bring a Celtic sound to our Sunday worship service with A Celtic Service. Arranged around the format of traditional Lutheran liturgy, the service features traditional hymns and tunes from Celtic Lands, played on authentic Celtic instruments including Irish uilleann bagpipes, tinwhistle, fiddle, bodhran, and more.
February 24—The Seminary Chorus: Under the direction of Professor James Tiefel, the Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary Choir will beautify our worship by singing the story of our Lord who loves us all.
